I’ve created a free NSW school calendar to help you track term dates, school holidays, public holidays and more. It’s particularly helpful for tracking the ‘week’ references that schools insist on making. Where else does everyone refer to “week 1” and “week 2” rather than an actual date? Ah, school life, huh?

I print our school calendar and keep this month plus the next two upcoming months on our kitchen wall. It’s a great way to streamline family organising.
School holidays at a glance
You can spot straightaway when school is in or out: grey is a holiday, white means school is in. Not the weekends, obviously. I didn’t grey them out because I’d rather save that for long weekends, so we can see at a glance when the family gets a mini break.
Track each family member
The NSW school calendar has space for each family member and you can see the whole month on one sheet. Just write the name of each family member at the top and track their individual schedule. We are a family of five, so I use the sixth box to put ‘whole family’ events in – but you might need it for an extra kid. Apologies if you have more than four kids… but just print another page and you’re good to go!
Help us keep track!
Let me know if you spot any errors in the NSW school calendar.
I hope you find this school calendar helpful. Okay, no more excuses: 2019 is the year we finally keep on top of the whole school thing!
