Jo Southwell

I’m Jo. In 2011 we picked up our family from the suburbs of Sydney and relocated back to the family farm where my husband grew up. Moving here was a chance to try a simpler life with space for the kids, a large vegetable garden and time spent together as a family without the distractions of the city.
These days life is busy with three teens, a job, and a sheep property to run, and we cannot imagine life any other way.
I used to blog about my tree change, but these days I mainly share snippets on Instagram. I’m a fan of time spent with family and friends; good, honest, homemade, homegrown food; a clean and organised home (well, I can dream); bonfires in winter and fruit picking in summer; seeing the world with my camera in hand; and raising my kids to be kind, always.
