What I read this month (June 2018)

What I read this month |’s hard to believe but my blog is now two years old!

You might have noticed that reviews have been few and far between of late, and that’s partly because I’ve been focused on my music, partly due to school, and partly due to helping out with the #LoveOzYA blog in my role as a committee member.

So I thought I’d make some changes so that I’m at least blogging more regularly here in my own space.

I will still review books in depth on occasion, but each month I’ll put up a list of what I read that month so you’ll get some new ideas for things to try. These are the books I’m reading outside of the required reading for school.

In June, 2018, I read:

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

This was okay but not one of my favourite classics.

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend

This is one of the funniest books I have read all year. Highly recommended.

The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham

I really enjoyed this one. Recommended if you like sci-fi.

Thanks for reading my blog over the past couple of years!
